Federal Acts and Legal Compliance

This course examines some of the most significant federal statutes and legal cases relevant to human resource professionals. It also presents ethical and legal arguments to HR professionals for how proactive compliance can better support and protect their organizations. Human resource professionals must not only be able to identify federal and state law requirements, but also identify potential legal issues in their workplaces, assess what courses of legal action are possible, and know when to consult appropriate legal counsel.
