Description
While there are many benefits associated with hybrid and remote work models, there are certain tasks and activities that cannot be easily replicated in virtual environments. Team collaboration, brainstorming, and culture-building are easier to accomplish in in-person settings, where team members can work side-by-side and communicate in real time. Therefore, organizations transitioning to different work models require strong cultures and adaptable workforces in order to succeed.
When organizations transition to new work arrangements, business leaders and HR professionals must assess how and when work will be conducted, what the expectations will be for managing job tasks and responsibilities, and other considerations. This course examines how the modern office has been reshaped through a shift toward hybrid work, and it explores the business activities best suited for in-person settings and how those activities can still be achieved in virtual environments. In addition, topics such as employee health and safety and workspace design will be addressed.
