Description
Human resource professionals must negotiate a wide range of legal issues in the workplace. Employment law is a complex and constantly evolving area that has been disrupted many times over by technological advancements and new economies. This course examines the legal responsibilities and boundaries of human resource professionals and how they use this knowledge to support their employers and organizations. To support organizations effectively in this area, human resource professionals must be able to understand a multitude of regulations that govern employment relationships, as well as accurately assess potential legal issues and employers' ethical responsibilities.
