TEAS Prep 2
The TEAS Prep 2 course will prepare you for the Math and Science portions of the TEAS exam. Through the hands-on lessons in this course, you'll acquire the necessary skill sets that will allow you to master the detailed math and science sections of the exam. Plus, you'll identify how to manage stress and prepare for your first clinical experiences. This course will help you develop a game plan for success on the TEAS exam.
Nursing school is the first step to becoming a nurse. Admission to nursing school depends on several factors, including your score on the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS).
The TEAS Prep 2 course prepares you for the Mathematics and Science portion of the TEAS exam. You will learn to analyze and solve mathematical and scientific question types, similar to common TEAS questions. By course completion, you will be fully prepared for the TEAS Mathematics and Science section.
Prior to taking this course, you should have completed the requirements for admission to a nursing school.
- This course can be taken on either a PC, Mac, or Chromebook.
- PC: Windows 8 or later.
- Mac: macOS 10.6 or later.
- Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible.
- Software must be installed and fully operational before the course begins.
- Email capabilities and access to a personal email account.

Elizabeth Katrancha has worked in nursing education, case management, and long-term acute care (LTAC) and as an emergency room nurse at a level 1 trauma center.
She has been published in the Journal of School Nursing, MedSurg, Continuing Education in Nursing, Geriatric Nursing and the Journal of Trauma Nursing. She earned her DNP as an adult medical-surgical clinical nurse specialist at the University of Pittsburgh, MSN (nursing education) at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, BSN at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, and her Associate of Science in nursing at Mount Aloysius College.
